WHERE THE BIG DOGS RUN
THE RED DOG RANCH IS CLEVELAND’S PREMIER FACILITY FOR SPORTING AND WORKING DOGS.
Your dog isn’t the problem. The lack of freedom is.
The Red Dog Ranch exists because many dogs—especially active, driven dogs—don’t have anywhere appropriate to run, train, and work near the city. They need space, structure, and the ability to move and learn in real conditions. Keeping dogs indoors all day, whether in a daycare or a garage-style training setup, doesn’t give them what they need.
This is a working training ground. Sixty acres of open land, water, and varied terrain, set close enough to the city to be usable—but designed for serious dog work. It’s a place for owners and trainers who want to do right by their dogs and need room to do it.
Our Services
-
We operate as a working dog training co-op, providing scheduled access to private training grounds where owners and trainers can work and run their dogs independently.

-
We offer one-on-one training for sporting and working dogs, focused on developing and sharpening real-world skills. Training is tailored to the dog in front of us and the goals you’re working toward.
-
For days when outdoor training isn’t possible, book our orthopedic treadmill in a climate-controlled indoor facility. Treadmill sessions offer structured, low-impact conditioning to support fitness and performance.
-
Our Dog Day Camp is offered seasonally as a structured alternative to traditional dog daycare. It’s designed for dogs who need movement, purpose, and engagement—not confinement or constant stimulation. The focus is on appropriate activity, structure, and meaningful work in a working environment.
-
We host public events focused on education, shared learning, and connection within the dog community
